The Star Behind The Clouds
Light doesn’t disappear. It just gets buried under the weather we create.

The Star Behind The Clouds. Hmm.
It’s true » I think about the Sun a lot, often as . . . well the Sun.
I wake up and it’s there. No shock factor, I see it everyday. It’s just you know, the Sun. Doing its thing.
But stars? They are special right? More special? I have to be outside, at night, with no light pollution, no clouds, so I go days without ‘seeing’ the stars.
🏙️ Sometimes it’s weeks or months before I see an electric starry sky.
I forget: The Sun is a star. That’s like ‘Stars 101’ 😂
The other day I went skiing. Full on snow. Great pow. Terrible visibility. The sun was indeed out, it didn’t ‘leave’. It was there all along, just . . . behind the clouds.
I grew up in Denver, often stormy. When the airplane broke through the Rocky Mountain thick clouds the brightness would startle me. It was always there though. Just behind the clouds.
The illusion is: ‘The Sun didn’t come out today…It’s cloudy….It’s not very sunny.”

From any angle you measure, my life is good.
But 100? Fine, 100.
I get bogged down by the storm clouds. I know in my head it will pass, but sometimes my heart isn’t so willing.
I once met a girl. She was stunning . . . yes beautiful, but her soul . . . was radiant. I promptly sucked in all the light I could, even put out PV solar cells to charge up my backup battery packs 🫤
Yeah. I still remember the shock, the day I no longer saw that star.
The clouds had built up, layer by layer, I didn’t even notice until it was too heavy, barreling down like it did over Dorothy’s house in Kansas 🌪️
Despite best efforts, I couldn’t break through those clouds.
Hmm🤔
So . . . I took all the gold coins from my pouch and put them in the stock market💰️📈
Big twinkles in some of those stars. But I misunderstood. Turns out—that 27M degrees is actually more valuable that than 27M dollars.
I was out of ideas.

Back in Marina del Rey, my window reflection crystalized. It was dark now. ‘Darn’ I thought, ‘I guess I’ll have to wait until tomorrow to see the Sun.’
🪞I see that reflection everyday. I take him for granted too. I forget he’s there. Sometimes I think of him as the ‘ordinary everyday Sun’, not a star.
Leaving the room I paused a last time.
Wait. Wait. Maybe it’s me.
Maybe I am the star behind my clouds. A star with intrinsic superpowers, and core fusion power that can generate a system of … whatever is needed.
And maybe it’s an illusion and doesn’t even matter if it’s cloudy or not.
What if . . . you are The Star Behind The Clouds?
Is it possible?
If it’s true then I ask you » what are your Miracles-In-Motion? What clouds really don’t matter because » you are there💫
Mind 🌞
Although it’s 1/3 distance closer, you can’t see the Sun from the surface of Venus.
The clouds aren’t just “thick.”
Their 25 miles thick. An unbroken, global, high‑pressure, high‑acid wall that blocks every wavelength of visible light.
Just a dim directionless glow is all that comes through.
This per the Soviet Venera landers which survived minutes to hours on the surface.
Don’t stack clouds. Shine your light 🌞
