Spread Your Butter To The Edge
It's where presence melts into superpowers

Heart
Friend, how hard is it for you to butter your toast?
100? It’s tough for me.
I’m not even there half the time. My toast is—but not me.
It gets harder if someone else is in the kitchen. Like:
Me: ‘Huh? I’m sorry . . . the what? Oh, pass the salt, yeah here you go.’
It appeared like I was buttering toast, like I was in the kitchen with them.
Last week I made toast for someone. They said ‘Thanks’, but then got up and buttered the toast (again) themselves.
Me: “What happened?”
“Oh it’s fine. You only did the middle—I don’t like eating dry bread. I like the butter to spread even, go all around, all the way to the edges.”
Hmm. Makes sense. Why not have amazing toast—is it possible?

I’ve buttered bread hundreds, if not thousands of times. I got this 💪🔪
But that’s also my disadvantage 🤯
My mind drifted to ‘more important’ things: Deals I want to close, calls to make, and that InspoLetter I need to send your way. And it must be golden, because what if you stop reading?
What if I do my best and you still don’t like my toast??
Or I look down while I’m buttering my toast and think: ‘Gees, I really need to lose that belly fat. I should exercise more.’
Then I think: I could exercise more if I had more time, more money, more resources, maybe » a nicer kitchen to butter my toast, or maybe an artisan knife from Milan instead of this old boring knife. Maybe that would butter the toast better??
I'm not satisfied—I'm thinking about some future moment that will be superior to this half-buttered toast.

Mind 🧈
Butter is widely considered to have originated from the Neolithic period (~8000 BC).
Some accounts suggest an accidental discovery by nomadic tribes of the Middle East, who carried milk in animal‑skin bags; the motion of travel churned the milk into butter.
Butter appears across early northern climates where dairy animals thrived, suggesting multiple cultures discovered it independently.
What might you discover with it⁉️
