Is it an easy day, or a good day?

Ease is comfortable. Good is earned. Why one builds legacy while the other just passes time...

Inspire Your Day!

Heart

When I wake up, and look at the morning celling, I say, ‘Hmmm what do I have today’?

Now Friend have you ever been like me? Sometimes I sigh such a big relief when the day looks free of conflict. YES! 🥳 Looks clean, no messes, no big uncomfortable decisions or conflicts on the docket.

Whew!! I figure it’s gonna be a GREAT day. But is it really, a GREAT day? Or just an easy day?

Have you been to this mountain?

Each of these dudes have their face on the mountain because they woke up in the mornings and hunted conflict and obstacles » not because they mastered the easy life and a 4 hour work week.

They didn’t fake it to make, they » faced it to make it!

Can I get a 100? » 💯!

‘What stands in the way becomes the way’ says stoic Marcus Aurelius.

So, the more I wake up and engage with conflict, problems, and decisions » the more fulfilling life for me and for my fellow travelers.

🤔 Maybe a great life isn’t valued on ease after all, but depth. The kind that comes from showing up fully, when it’s hard, and giving your superpowers to it.

Why? » Because the world needs who you were meant to be 💪

Mind

🦁 Theodore Roosevelt became president in 1901 after President William McKinley was assassinated.

Teddy didn’t even run for president. He was chosen as VP by McKinley. Suddenly he was vaulted into the pilot seat. Lots of conflict.

Then in 1904, he ran for another term, decisively winning. Became a big impact president.

Of his service he said: “No president has ever enjoyed himself as much as I have.” (Wait…so conflict and fun can coexist??? 🤯 )

When I see him on Mount Rushmore I think: Hmmm, the good life is not actually defined by ease, but impact.

“Don’t wish it was easier, wish you were better. Don’t wish for less problems, wish for more skills. Don’t wish for less challenge, wish for more wisdom.”

— Jim Rohn
